Bill McGraw's column includes an item about Margaret Mattic, playwright and Wayne State graduate, who died in the 9/11 terrorist attacks. She was the author of three plays, including "Mother of Pearl," which will be read at a Sept. 11 tribute in the Community Arts Auditorium. Jazz music and a video on Mattic also will be featured.
